I'm so excited for SAVING POUGHKEEPSIE and can't wait to see what you think of this spicy teaser! Don't forget to add it to your TBR!

Beckett Taylor’s quest to be a better man has brought Eve Hartt back into his life, but sometimes it feels like they’re bound together with barbed wire. Though he longs to love her without causing pain, the wreckage of their past continues to crash down around them.

Yet with the help of this brothers—and for his brothers—Beckett won’t stop trying. He’s determined to make them all a family, to make a life they want to live, and to make Poughkeepsie a place that’s safe to live it.

He can feel their futures balanced precariously on his shoulders: Blake and Livia and their children, Cole and Kyle and the new baby they’ve just brought home, and Eve…always Eve. He wants their dreams to be real. But murderers don’t just get Happily Ever After handed to them. They have to wrench it away from Satan himself.

Good thing Beckett is prepared to do just that. After all, saving Poughkeepsie is the only way his story ends.

Prepare your heart and your head for a wild ride in this final installment of the Poughkeepsie Brotherhood series. Debra Anastasia does not disappoint as she weaves the last chapter of a story that blends true love, turbulent emotions, and life’s harsh realities into an uplifting tale that calls to the good in each of us.

“Are you ready for the tradition, my bride?”

“Sexmas? I can’t wait.” Livia wrapped her arms around Blake’s neck and kissed him deeply.

Every Christmas they had a date. They’d clear space on the living room floor and make love covered in the splashes of colored light from the tree.

Blake made room and sprinted upstairs to get their end of the monitor. Livia met him back under the tree with a bottle of chilled wine and one glass.

He set up the monitor before meeting her picnic-style on the floor.

“Only a few more years of this tradition before it gets too risky.”

“Don’t you mean risqué? Only one glass?” Blake took the bottle and opened it with a quiet pop.

“The rest are dirty.”

“I’m going to show you dirty in a minute.” Blake handed her a full glass before toasting her with the bottle.

Livia sighed, “The wooing has fallen so far, Mr. Hartt. It used to be all smile counts and poetry. Now we just call sex ‘the dirty.'"

“Not enough romance for you, Mrs. Hartt? I’d like you to know I took the trash out and walked the dog before bringing all my game to this carpet.” Blake took a long gulp from the bottle.

“You’re going to have a hangover tomorrow.” Livia let him have her glass, and he set it on the coffee table.

“I’m not worried about tomorrow. I’m worried about right now, with you, under this Christmas tree.” Blake supported her neck as he lay her on the floor.

Livia turned her head. “You better convince me. So far you’ve talked about the dog going to the bathroom, trash and dirtiness.”

Blake kissed her jaw and turned her head gently, kissing her mouth as she bit her lips together.

“Can’t I just convince you with my manly ways?” He wiggled his eyebrows.

He could, of course, do just that —but she shook her head. She loved the playful sparkle in his green eyes. His five o’clock shadow just made him more handsome, framing his kissable lips with scruff.

“Okay.” He put his fingers at the bottom of her shirt, lifting it gently so he could circle her belly button with his index finger. He put all of his considerable attention on her then, slightly fuzzy from his alcohol intake. “You’re the sexiest, most beautiful woman on this planet. So sexy, in fact that I had to have you. I had to make you bear my children because my universe and yours had to be combined. Everything I’ve ever been needed to be buried inside of you, so deep, so full of love that we created life. Twice.”

He lifted her shirt and kissed the tops of her breasts, whispering his devotion into her skin. “And it’s never enough. Unless I can hear you coming, I can’t think of anything else. All day, every day. For years now. You’re that powerful Livia. This. Us. It’s so intense that years haven’t cured me. I can’t stop wanting to make love to you.”

“Wow.” Livia smiled and pulled his face back to hers, kissing him, effectively stopping his beautiful words.

He unbuttoned her pants and slipped his hands inside. “I wasn’t done.”

“I hope not.” Livia unbuttoned his shirt, needing to touch the center of his chest, her talismen. Finally, she could feel the steady beat against her hand. As his hand found her, his heartbeat increased. She worked to keep her gaze on his determined face. It was amazing to watch him while he worked. This Blake, so sexual and dominant was only for her. She kissed him again, trying to put some skill into it, but his fingers were forcing her to lose her control. His heartbeat increased even more when she started to toss.

He pulled her pants roughly from her thighs, and she forgot to be quiet. He hooked her legs on his shoulders, changing his touch from the deep, intimate strokes to a kiss. He used one hand to brace her lower back and his other to combine touch with his oral skills.

She looked at him, tongue buried deep inside of her but his gaze was on her face. She came.

REVIEW: Binding Agreement by Pam McKenna

Binding Agreement by Pam McKenna-Erotic Contemporary Romance
Kindle format given by BookTrope Publishing for review
Amazon | BN

A chance encounter on a moonlit beach draws sensible, cautious Kay Denehy into a night of anonymous passion and surrender with a ruthlessly dominant stranger. As John Randall introduces her to the exotic thrills of bondage and discipline, she learns who she really is under the prim schoolteacher exterior-a sexual submissive who needs the strict and ardent guidance of a take-no-prisoners Dom.

John carries more than his share of emotional baggage, the result of a tragedy for which he feels responsible. Though he cares for Kay, he refuses to pursue a relationship, certain he could only bring her pain. He pushes her away even as his subconscious dream self turns her into a sex slave to be punished and enjoyed ménage-style by two other zealous and demanding Doms.

For the first time in her life, Kay knows what she needs, and who she needs, to be sexually and emotionally fulfilled. She knows, too, the path John must take to escape his dark places-if only he'll trust her to lead the way.

I'm not quite sure what I want to say. In all honesty, I was a bit confused in the beginning of the book. Their whole meeting just seemed a bit odd to me. I mean, I'm all for chance encounters and stranger lovin', but still... So, I suppose I'll get to what did work for me and go from there.

John and Kay had a lot of potential. I liked their chemistry from the start and was really interested to see where the story would take them. John is a criminal defense attorney and he's haunted by some of the cases he's won. So, to help him with his "issues" he uses sex. Specifically BDSM. He has the need to dominate and control. Kay, on the other hand, is a special ed teacher and is not familiar with the lifestyle, but she's so drawn to John that she's not opposed to trying it out. She essentially becomes the perfect sub.

The best part about the novella is the sex. Their first encounter was really nice, but the gold medal moment for me was when John took her to get fitted for her "contraptions". Erik, the artist, was fantastic and really added a nice element to the story. Adding Erik into the mix showed that John was getting more serious about Kay, despite his reluctance to get into a relationship. But yeah, the "fitting" was ridiculously hot!

Overall, I did end up liking it despite a bit of an awkward start. In fact, I feel a bit sad that things seemed to end unfinished. I wanted to know more about how their relationship was going to develop. I think I thought this was going to read more like a serial, but it's really a short story. BUT, if you're looking for something short and definitely sexy, check it out.

I've had a lifelong love affair with the written word, first as an avid reader and later as a novelist. After I became a best-selling romance author under a different name, I decided to indulge my passion for male/female erotic romance, which offers the irresistible combination of a satisfying love story and scorching eroticism. My erotic novellas, originally published by Ellora's Cave, are scheduled for republication by Booktrope in 2014. My books feature a liberal dose of BDSM and sometimes ménage a trois. Dominance and submission, pain and pleasure, fear and trust, all commingle in my novellas as my heroes and heroines gradually open their hearts to each other while testing the outermost boundaries of their sexual selves.
